Getränkeeland Heidebrecht GmbH & Co. KG is a beverage specialty retail chain with 116 branches in the northeast. The company currently employs around 500 people, 75% of whom are women. In 2019, Getränkeeland achieved gross annual sales of € 107 million. The head office is in Elmenhorst near Rostock , Germany .
history
The company was founded on June 29, 1991 by the Bremen businessman Rüdiger Heidebrecht. The opening of the first branch was in Goldberg , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
In 1996 the central administration moved from Neustrelitz to Satow. The son of the company founder, Axel Heidebrecht, joined the company and was in charge of purchasing. In 2000, the current central administration with market connection in Elmenhorst / Lichtenhagen Dorf was completed . 2004 saw the introduction of the first own brand "Axel Heidebrecht Editionsweine". In the meantime, the own brands have been expanded to include Sudhaus, Arkona Limo, Arkona mineral water and the beverage country charcoal. The company founder retired in 2006 and handed over management to his son Axel, who is now a managing partner. In 2012 the company became a partner of GVG | The drinks experts.
2014 saw the expansion of digital media and the start of branch modernization.
With Fabian Heidebrecht, the third generation joined the company in 2017, he was appointed managing director in 2019 and heads sales.

There are around 6000 items in the range of beverage land. These include beer, lemonade, soda, juice, iced tea, mineral water, wellness drinks, energy drinks, sparkling wine, champagne, spirits and wines.

A delivery service is offered in the greater Rostock, Ahrensburg, Fredersdorf, Rügen, Mölln, Reinbek, Warnemünde, Schwerin, Stralsund and Wismar locations.
The specialist magazine "Rundschau" for the food trade has awarded Drinkeland as "Best Beverage Dealer 2020 for the best branch concept in the beverage specialist market 2020".
