The service can be used via an app for smartphones with both the Android and iOS operating systems . Only drivers who have an official license to transport passengers are used. It is possible to determine the location of the driver and his estimated time of arrival. Passenger transport can be booked immediately or in advance. The service is then paid for by credit card . In addition to passenger transport, the brokerage offer also includes delivery services and logistics services.

Comparable to its direct competitor Uber , Gett now offers its brokerage services in passenger transportation in more than 60 cities worldwide, including London , Moscow and New York City . Gett wants to set itself apart from its competitors in the travel service brokerage industry, among other things, by wanting to keep its transport charges at the same level and not to increase its prices, for example at peak times.
