Getterön
Getterön is a peninsula in the municipality of Varberg , Hallands Lan , Sweden , immediately northwest of the main town of Varberg . Getterön was an island until 1936 , when the strait between Getterön and the mainland was filled with dredged material and a road was provided.
On Getterön there are five unexplored roos from the Bronze Age and two nature reserves Getteröns naturreservat (established in 1970) and Västra Getteröns naturreservat (established in 1974).
