Ghalymshan Niyazov
Ghalymschan Muqyruly Niyazov ( Kazakh Ғалымжан Мұқырұлы Ниязов , Russian Галымжан Мукырович Ниязов Galymschan Mukyrowitsch Niyazov ; * 14. April 1973 in Schetpe , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh politician . He has been the mayor of the city of Aktau since November 2017 .
Life
Ghalymschan Nijasow was born in 1973 in Schetpe in what is now the Mangghystau region. He graduated from the Kazakh National Satbayev Technical University in 2000 . In 2008 he obtained another university degree from the State Caspian Jessenow University for Technology and Engineering.
Niyazov began his professional career in 1990 as a mechanic in Shevchenko . In the following years he also held managerial positions in various companies. From June 2006 he worked for the authorities of the Mangghystau region. Here he rose to the position of deputy head of the construction department of the Mangghystau area. In February 2013 he became the deputy head of the building department of the Kyzylorda area . Between 2014 and 2016 he was the head of the Public Procurement Department of the Kyzylorda region. From February 2016 he was employed by a Kazakh pharmaceutical company. On March 27, 2017, Niyazov became an advisor to the governor of the Mangghystau region.
He has been mayor of the city of Aktau since November 23, 2017.
