Gheorghe Lichiardopol (born August 2, 1913 in Bucharest , † 1991 ) was a Romanian sports shooter .
successes
Gheorghe Lichiardopol took part in two Olympic Games . At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he scored 578 points with the rapid fire pistol at 25 m and then had to play off with Szilárd Kun . In this he was defeated by Kun with 137: 140 and thus received the bronze medal. Also in Melbourne in 1956 he had to finish in the jump-off after he had scored 581 points like Pentti Linnosvuo . In the jump-off he defeated Linnosvuo and secured himself bronze again.
Lichiardopol was an architect.
