The Ghiacciaio Section Peak ( Italian ) is a glacier in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located about 170 km north-northwest of the Italian Mario Zucchelli station at altitudes between 2500 and 2300 m on the southeast flank of Section Peak in the Lichen Hills .
Italian scientists first sighted it in December 1999 and named it in February 2002 based on the mountain of the same name.
