Ghinzu is a Belgian pop rock band. It was founded in 1999 in Brussels. Ghinzu released their first album "Electronic Jacuzzi" under their own label "Dragoon". Although the album was only distributed in Belgium, it still sold well. The second album "Blow" was released in 2004 in Belgium, France and via the V2 label also in Germany, Switzerland and the Scandinavian countries and brought the band to crowded concert halls in Europe. In 2005, due to the great demand, a new edition of the first album was made with slight changes.

The song "Cockpit Inferno" was used in the 2006 film Sky Fighters . Also in 2006 the band took over the composition and production of the soundtrack for the feature film Irina Palm . The song "The Dragster-Wave" was part of the soundtrack of the feature film 96 Hours in 2009 . "The Dragster-Wave" was used for the trailer and in the credits of the film.

The song "Blow" dramatically underlines the brutal climax of the Belgian feature film Ex Drummer .
