Gholam Reza Yaqoubi ( also Ghulam Reza Yahqoubi , born September 18, 1991 in Afghanistan ) is an Afghan football player who has played for Tofan Harirod since 2015 .

Career

Like most other players in the 2012 Afghan Premier League , Yaqoubi was found on the Maidan e Sabz soccer casting show and signed with Tofan Harirod . He made his debut on September 21, 2012 in a 4-1 win over Simorgh Alborz , where Yaqoubi scored two goals to 3-0 and 4-0. In the semi-final against De Spinghar Bazan , Yaqoubi scored three goals in a sensational 10-0 win. At the end of the 2012 championship, he scored Tofan Harirod's second goal in a 2-1 win over Simorgh Alborz.

Gholam Reza Yaqoubi was vice-top scorer of the APL 2012 behind his teammate Hamidullah Karimi with 7 goals and thus contributed a large part to the championship of his team.

After playing for Tofan in 2013, he was not offered a new contract for the new season. After playing for De Maiwand Atalan in 2014 , Yaqoubi returned to his home club for the 2015 season.
