Ghost Machine is a five-piece metal band from Los Angeles , California that was formed in 2005. The band consists of two members of Motograter , singer Ivan Moody , also singer of Five Finger Death Punch , and drummer Chris "Crispy" Binns, and John Stevens from The Clay People .
history
Ghost Machine was formed when singer Moody and guitarist John Stevens met at XM Radio in 2005. Moody's band Motograter , previously signed to Elektra Records , was playing live when John became aware of him as a producer on the station, impressed by Ivan's vocals.
After many recording sessions, drummer Chris Binns from Motograter and keyboardist, programmer and electronics specialist Brett Davis joined the band. A short time later, bassist Mike McLaughlin also joined the band.
The band released their eponymous album Ghost Machine on July 26, 2005 under their label Black Blood Records . The album was co-produced and built by Pete Murray ( Lo-Pro ).
On December 21, 2005, the Corporate Punishment Records label signed the band.
The second album Hypersensitive was released on November 21, 2006. The album contained ten new tracks that were not found on the previous album. The song "Siesta Loca" is part of the soundtrack for the movie Saw III .

The main musical influences of the band are bands like Nine Inch Nails , Tool , The Cure and Ministry . The pieces contain melodic parts. The voice of singer Moody is compared to that of Peter Steele .
