The Giæver Glacier ( French Glacier Giaever ) is a glacier in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It flows in the Belgica Mountains in a north-westerly direction between Mount Kerckhove de Denterghem and Mount Lahaye .
Participants in the Belgian Antarctic Expedition in 1957/58 under Gaston de Gerlache de Gomery (1919-2006) discovered him. It is named after the Norwegian polar explorer John Schjelderup Giæver (1901–1970), advisor on the research trip and previously head of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952).
