Gia Lewis-Smallwood
Gia Lewis-Smallwood ( Gia Gerisha Lewis-Smallwood; born April 1, 1979 in Urbana , Illinois ) is an American discus thrower .
In 2011 she was eliminated from the qualification at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu and fourth at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara .
At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, she did not get past the first round.
In 2013 she was fifth at the World Championships in Moscow , and in 2014 she won the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech .
In 2015 she won bronze at the Pan American Games in Toronto and finished eleventh at the World Cup in Beijing .
In 2013, 2014 and 2015 she was US champion.
