Giacomo Carboni

Giacomo Carboni (born April 29, 1889 in Reggio Emilia , † December 2, 1973 in Rome ) was an Italian lieutenant general (Generale di corpo d'armata).

Life

Carboni officiated during the Second World War as head of the Italian military intelligence service (it. SIM, Servizio Informazioni Militare , 1939-1940). After Mussolini was overthrown in 1943, he was briefly reassigned to the post.
