Giacomo Crosa (born January 11, 1947 in Predosa ) is an Italian journalist and former high jumper .

In 1967 he was tenth at the European Indoor Games in Prague and sixth at the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 with his personal best of 2.14 m.

From 1969 to 1974 he worked, among other things, as a trainer for the Italian Athletics Federation . In the 1970s he began to gain experience as a television journalist. As a sports journalist, he reported at the Summer Olympics from 1976 to 2012 and at several Winter Olympics between 1980 and 2006. He also worked as a television reporter at numerous World and European Athletics Championships. In addition to athletics, he also reported on sports events in basketball. For the news desk of the radio station Rai 2 he was also entrusted with political and social issues outside of sport. From 2009 to 2012 he was Vice Director of Reti Televisive Italiane, part of the Mediaset group . For Mediaset, he appeared as a newscaster for sports news for the news programs on Canale 5 , Italia 1 and Rete 4 . Since 2008 he has been editor-in-chief of the monthly culture and sports magazine TempoSport . In addition to his journalistic activities, Crosa is also active as a writer.

He has received several awards for his work as a sports journalist.
