Gian Trepp

Gian Trepp (born May 31, 1947 in Zurich ) is a Swiss journalist, book author and strategy consultant.

Life

Gian Trepp spent his youth as a host's son in the Krokodil restaurant and the Vorbahnhof restaurant in Zurich city districts 4 and 5. After graduating from the Freudenberg canton school and doing a one-year trip around the world, he studied economics at the University of Zurich from 1968. He was an activist of the 1968 movement and wrote articles for alternative media at the time. After graduating as Lic. Oec. In 1974, Gian Trepp worked as a worker in the factory until 1977 as a member of a left-wing revolutionary group. Since then has worked as a freelance journalist, book author and consultant.

In 1987 Gian Trepp published the first of several books.

In addition to the "Wochenzeitung" and other alternative media, mainstream titles have also been publishing articles by Gian Trepp since the late 1980s. Among others: Neue Zürcher Zeitung , Tages-Anzeiger , Das Magazin , Die Sonntagszeitung , Die Weltwoche , Die Zeit , Süddeutsche Zeitung and Liechtensteiner Vaterland . Appearances in domestic and foreign TV and radio stations. His work has been translated into English, French, Italian and Japanese.

From 1996 to 1999, Gian Trepp and Wolfgang Hafner researched the topic of money laundering with derivatives on behalf of the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Today Gian Trepp works primarily as a strategy consultant.
