Gianyar is a government district ( Kabupaten ) of Bali , Indonesia . It has an area of 368 km² and a population of 416,728 (2003), making it the second most densely populated district in Bali (after Badung ). The seat is in the city of the same name, Gianyar .
The city of Ubud , a center of arts and tourism, is located in Gianyar.
