Gibbaeum is a genus of plants fromthe afternoon flower family (Aizoaceae). The botanical name is derived from the Latin gibba = bumpy.
description
They are highly succulent , mostly cushion-shaped plants with short axes.
Systematics and distribution
The species are mainly found in the Little Karoo in South Africa ( Capensis ) and the adjacent areas. The genus includes the following species:
