The Gievenbach is a small stream in the Westphalian city of Münster . It runs completely in the Gievenbeck district in the west of the city, which is named after the body of water. The Gievenbach rises in the northwest of the district not far from Autobahn 1 , flows through the district center and the Münster Allwetterzoo in a southeastern direction and flows into the Aasee there .
