Gilberto Felici

Gilberto Felici (born June 15, 1972 in San Marino ) is a San Marino lawyer and judge at the European Court of Human Rights .

Live and act

Felici studied law at the University of Urbino , where he graduated in 1996. In 1998 he became a notary and at the same time a lecturer at the Institute of History and Philosophy of Law at the University of Urbino. From 1999 he completed further training as a judge as uditore giudiziario . In 2003 he became a judge at the San Marino Court of Justice. At the same time he represented San Marino in the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance and was a member of numerous government and parliamentary committees. In 2008 he lectured on human rights and international law at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa, and in 2010 at the University of San Marino .

In June 2018, Felici was elected Judge at the European Court of Human Rights as the successor to Kristina Pardalos as representative of San Marino . He took up his term of office, which is expected to last until 2027, on September 26, 2018.
