Gilberto Martinho

Gilberto Martinho (born January 14, 1927 in Araranguá , Santa Catarina , † August 19, 2001 in Rio de Janeiro ) was a Brazilian actor.

In addition to television, he also worked as a movie actor in the 1950s. In 1954 he was, among other things, assistant director and actor in the film Rua Sem Sol . He achieved international fame as "Don Almeida" in the telenovela Die Sklavin Isaura . On August 19, 2001, Martinho died of lung cancer at the age of 74. He was married to Maria Lucinda from 1967 until his death and had three children.
