The Gillam Glacier is a 23 km long valley glacier in the northern Alaska range in Alaska ( USA ).
The Gillam Glacier has its nutrient area on the southwest flank of Mount Geist at an altitude of approximately 2300 m . The glacier initially flows 16 km in a northwesterly direction. It then joins a larger eastern and western tributary glacier and turns towards the north-northeast. The Gillam Glacier has a maximum width of 1.9 km. It ends at an altitude of around 970 m . The glacier feeds the East Fork Little Delta River , which flows into the Little Delta River , a left tributary of the Tanana River .
The glacier was named by the US Geological Survey (USGS) after Harold Gillam, a bush pilot.
