Gintautas Gegužinskas
Gintautas Gegužinskas (born December 21, 1961 in Garliava , Kaunas district ) is a Lithuanian politician, mayor of the Pasvalys district .
Life
After graduating from high school from 1968 to 1979 at Garliava Middle School, Gegužinskas graduated from Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija with a degree in agronomy as an agronomist in 1984 and a master’s degree in law at Mykolo Romerio universitetas in 2004 . In 1984 Gegužinskas worked at the Joniškėlis technical center . From 1990 to 1995 he was, and since 2007, mayor of the Pasvalys district .
From 1984 Gegužinskas was a member of the Lietuvos komunistų partija , then Sąjūdis , from 1996 the Tėvynės sąjunga (Lietuvos konservatoriai).
