Giorgio A. Tsoukalos (Greek Γεώργιος Α. Τσούκαλος; born March 14, 1978 in Lucerne ) is a Swiss writer and television presenter with Greek and Austrian roots who lives in the USA .

Tsoukalos is a representative of pre-astronautics , the hypothesis that humanoid astronauts from alien planets interacted with people of prehistoric times and antiquity. He is the editor of the US edition of the magazine Legendary Times (dt .: Legendary Times ), a publication with contributions to ancient astronaut hypothesis of Erich von Daniken ( Chariots of the Gods ) , David Hatcher Childress , Peter Fiebag , Robert Bauval and Luc Surety .

Tsoukalos was director of an Erich von Däniken center for pre-astronautics research for over 12 years. He has also appeared on US TV programs on the Travel Channel , History Channel , Sci-Fi Channel and National Geographic Channel .

Tsoukalos graduated from Ithaca College in Ithaca , New York, with a bachelor's degree in sport information and communication in 1998 . According to his own statement, he speaks fluent English, Greek, German, French and Italian.

Trivia

A still from his show Ancient Aliens on the History Channel has found widespread use as an Internet phenomenon .
