Giorgio Barbetta

Giorgio Barbetta (born September 1, 1971 in Berbenno , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and appointed Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Huari .

Life

Giorgio Barbetta studied philosophy and theology at the regional seminary Pío XI in Assisi and received the sacrament of ordination on September 20, 1998 .

With the non-governmental organization Operazione Mato Grosso (OMG) he came to Peru as a Fidei Donum priest of the diocese of Gubbio . Since 2017 he has been the rector of the regional seminar "Señor de Pomallucay" in San Luis de Chuquipampa in the Diocese of Huari.

On 12 December 2019 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Isola and Auxiliary Bishop of Huari.
