Titular diocese of Isola
Isola is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a bishopric in the town of Isola di Capo Rizzuto , which is located in the Italian region of Calabria . The diocese of Isola has been traceable since the beginning of the 10th century, belonged to the Greek dioceses and was a suffragan of Santa Severina until it was attached to Crotone in 1818 and thus came to the ecclesiastical province of Reggio Calabria.
