Giorgio Favaretto (born March 2, 1902 in Venice , † April 21, 1986 in Rome ) was an Italian pianist .

Life

Giorgio Favaretto studied music in Naples . He then specialized in an interpreter of pieces of music for piano and voice. His piano accompaniment quickly developed into self-developed interpretations, which led to him playing solo voices and also shaping the singing of a wide variety of singers. He founded his own music school, but cooperation was always important to him, for example with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, or the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena .
