Giorgio Parodi

Giorgio Parodi (* 1897 in Venice ; † August 18, 1955 ) was the co-founder of the motorcycle company Moto Guzzi in the Italian town of Mandello del Lario on Lake Como . Together with his friend Carlo Guzzi , they built the company into one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers of the 1960s.

Giorgio's father, Emanuele Vittorio Parodi, a wealthy Genoese shipowner , contributed the founding capital .
