Giovanni Battista Breda (born July 21, 1931 in Melegnano , † July 13, 1992 in Milan ) was an Italian sword fencer .
successes
Giovanni Battista Breda took part in three Olympic Games : in 1960 he finished eighth in the individual competition in Rome , four years later he reached the final round in Tokyo in the team competition, which the Italian team finished in second place behind Hungary and ahead of France . Together with Giuseppe Delfino , Gianfranco Paolucci , Alberto Pellegrino and Gianluigi Saccaro , Breda received the silver medal. At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City , he was sixth with the team.
