Johann Gamberoni

Johann Gamberoni (born April 28, 1921 in Bolzano ; † December 7, 2017 in Brixen ) was an Italian theologian from South Tyrol .

Life

Gamberoni was ordained a priest in Rome on October 27, 1946. From 1952 to 1972 Gamberoni taught exegesis of the Old Testament at the Philosophical-Theological College in Brixen. From 1971 to 1986 he taught exegesis of the Old Testament at the Theological Faculty in Paderborn . From 1983 to 2003 he was president of the Athesia publishing house .
