Giovanni Speranza (born March 6, 1982 in Giessen ) is an Italian football player . He is an attacking midfielder .
Career
Speranza played in his youth at Eintracht Frankfurt . After years in the second team of Eintracht Frankfurt, in which he also played twice in the first team in the 2001/02 season, and at Mainz 05 he moved to Slavia Sofia in 2005 and a year later to the Italian third division at Monza Calcio . The SV Waldhof Mannheim took Speranza in winter 2007 to the end of the 2008/09 season in his squad on. During this time he completed 42 games for SV Waldhof. In 2009 he moved to the Slovak first division club DAC Dunajská Streda , because he wanted to play again in a higher class league. After seven months, Speranza left the club after a few months with no salary. From January 2011 he played for the Vietnamese first division club XM The Vissai Ninh Binh in the VDQG Eximbank League , where he had a contract for another season. He was used there in attacking midfield and was a regular. In 2012 he moved to the first division club Kienlongbank Kien Giang , whose squad he was a midfielder in the 2012/13 season. Since 2013 he played for the Vietnamese second division team Dak Lak . There he was still under contract in the 2013/14 season and was used regularly. For the 2014 season, Speranza continued to play as a Dak Lak player.
