Girls 'Generation-TTS , also known as Girls' Generation-TaeTiSeo or TaeTiSeo , is a South Korean K-pop girl group . It is the first sub-band of the girl group Girls' Generation and was formed (like the main group) by the music label SM Entertainment . The name of the group is composed of the first letters of the three singers, Taeyeon , Tiffany and Seohyun .
history
Girls' Generation-TTS was officially announced by Korean entertainment company SM Entertainment on April 19, 2012 as the first subgroup of the girl group Girls' Generation, and consists of three Girls' Generation artists, Taeyeon , Tiffany and Seohyun .
The first single, Twinkle , was released on April 29, 2012, the music video released a day later on the video platform YouTube received over 10 million clicks in the first week. On May 2nd the first EP was released on CD (also called Twinkle ). This first album, like the previous single of the same name, reached the top of the South Korean charts.
Twinkle reached 126th place on the US Billboard 200 , the highest ranking by a Korean band to date.
