Gisa Klönne
Gisa Klönne (* 1964 in Stuttgart ) is a German writer and former journalist .
Life
After graduating from high school, she studied German and political science in Darmstadt and Guildford ( Great Britain ), as well as English, German and theater, film and television studies in Cologne .
Klönne worked in the Emma editorial team and was editor-in-chief at the environmental magazine BUNDmagazin . In 2001, she won Journal magazine's short story competition for women with the short story Stehblues Revisited . Numerous short stories followed. In 2005, Ullstein Verlag published her first crime novel Der Wald ist Schweigen , which was followed in 2006 by the crime thriller Unter dem Eis . In 2009 she received the Friedrich Glauser Prize for Nacht ohne Schatten and in 2011 she was awarded the Herzogenrath Handcuff for her novel Colors of Guilt .
In addition to her work as a crime writer, Gisa Klönne worked as a freelance journalist for magazines and daily newspapers and taught as a lecturer in the training and further education of journalists. She also gives courses in literary writing and supports young talent as a mentor. Gisa Klönne is a member of the group of authors Das Syndikat and chairwoman of the jury for the Crime Cologne Award .
Gisa Klönne is married and lives in Cologne.
