Gisbert Ter-Nedden
Gisbert Ter-Nedden (* 3. August 1940 in Potsdam ; † 18th April 2014 in Bonn ) was a German Germanist and literary scholar .
Life
From 1960 to 1967 he studied German and philosophy in Tübingen , Freiburg im Üechtland , Berlin and Bonn. He was a research assistant Kurt Wölfel at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg , where he in 1970 with a thesis on Günter Grass and the modern historical novel doctorate and in 1981 Newer specialist German literary history on Gotthold Ephraim Lessing's tragedies habilitated . From 1985 to 2005 he taught at the second professorship for German Studies / Modern Literature Studies in the Department of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences (ESGW) at the Distance University in Hagen .
His research focus was Gotthold Ephraim Lessing .
