Gisela Friebel

Gisela Friebel (born on February 22, 1941 in Greven ; died 1995 ) was a German author of series novels and wrote over 500 novels and books. In addition to the author names G. Friebel and GS Friebel, she also used the pseudonyms Gisela de Fries and Thea Moosbach . In 1972 she wrote two novels for the science fiction series Spaceship Promet and was thus possibly the first woman in the German science fiction booklet . As Gisela de Fries, she was known from 1972 as the main author of Rote Laterne , a booklet novel series set in a prostitute environment by the Zauberkreis Verlag and previously for the women 's novel series Gold-Roman by the same publisher. As Thea Moosbach she wrote edelweiss mountain novels .

Life

Before she retired, Friebel was a police officer. She lived in Munster. In 1983 she got cancer. For 12 years she fought against the disease with means within and outside of conventional medicine and also wrote some relevant non-fiction books and guides. She died in 1995.
