Gisela Müller-Brandeck-Bocquet

Gisela Müller-Brandeck-Bocquet (* 1956 ) is a German political scientist and holds the professorship for European Studies and International Relations at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg .

education

Müller-Brandeck-Bocquet studied political science at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Grenoble and at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institut in Munich . After her habilitation in 1995, she was deputy professor at the University of Trier and the University of Würzburg from 1995 to 1998 . She has held a professorship in Würzburg since 1999.

Her research focuses on international relations , German and French foreign and European policy, and transnational environmental policy .

In 2017 she was awarded the Jean Monnet Chair .
