Gisela Pulido (born January 14, 1994 in Premià de Mar , Barcelona , Spain ) is a Spanish kitesurfer and ten times world champion.

Career

Pulido became junior world champion and world champion in kitesurfing in 2004 .

In 2007, at the age of 13, she became the junior world champion in Sankt Peter-Ording. In 2008 she won the Freestyle World Kite Championship . In 2010 she became World Wave Champion. Today she starts as a professional in the World Tour of the Professional Kiteboard Riders Association (PKRA) in the discipline Freestyle .

In 2011 she won her 8th world title at the Kitesurf World Cup in St. Peter Ording in the freestyle discipline . In 2012 she finished third at the Freestyle World Championship. In 2013 she won the Marsala World Cup Freestyle and with her victory at the Hainan Kitesurf Festiva l in China in October she won the world championship in front of Karolina Winkowska from Poland , thus taking her ninth Freestyle World Championship title.
