Gisela von Radowitz

Gisela von Radowitz (* 1941 in Hamburg ) is a German author .

Life

Gisela von Radowitz was born in Hamburg in 1941. She studied languages ​​and art history in the UK , France and Spain before living in South Africa for twelve years and having two children. She co-founded a German-language theater in Johannesburg, worked as an actress and directed.

In 1977 she returned to Germany and made writing her profession. She has published novels for adults and children, translated and written scripts for film and television.

Today she lives and works with her husband Helme Heine in Russell in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand . In her free time, she enjoys sailing and fishing.
