Giuseppe Antonio Silvani

Giuseppe Antonio Silvani (born January 21, 1672 in Bologna ; † 1727 there ) was an Italian music publisher and composer .

Life

Silvani was a son of the music publisher Marino Silvani. After his death in 1711 he and his brother Matteo took over the father's business. Between 1712 and 1716 he became the sole owner.

He mainly published instrumental music and treatises, among others by Angelo Berardi , Giovanni Paolo Colonna , Arcangelo Corelli .

Since 1693 he was a member of the Accademia Filarmonica .
