Giuseppe Germano Bernardini
Giuseppe Germano Bernardini OFMCap (born September 27, 1928 in Verica, Modena Province , Italy ) is a former Roman Catholic Archbishop of İzmir in Turkey .
Giuseppe Germano Bernardini joined the religious order of the Capuchins and was ordained a priest on March 21, 1953 . He was founded in 1966 by Pius XI. appointed as Superior ( Apostolic Administrator ) of the Mission sui juris of Trabzon (from 1990: Apostolic Vicariate of Anatolia in İskenderun ). In 1983 he was appointed Archbishop of the Archdiocese of İzmir by John Paul II . The episcopal ordination received his Bruno Foresti on April 9, 1983. In 2004, his resignation was granted by John Paul II.
