Giuseppe Puliè was a specialist in the classical style. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1991 in Val di Fiemme , he finished 14th over 10 kilometers. The following year he took part in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville . Over 30 kilometers , he finished the race in sixteenth. With the relay, however, he was able to run for 4 × 10 km to silver. Another participation in a world championship followed in 1993 in Falun as well as at the Olympics, Puliè started over 30 kilometers and took 17th place. In March 1987 he won third place with the relay at the World Cup in Oslo .
Puliè was also successful at national level, winning bronze at Italian championships in 1990 over 30 km and in 1993 over 10 km. There were also five titles in the relay and a silver medal in 1995 over 30 km. In 1994 he withdrew from the Italian national team and ended his career two years later. He later worked as a technician for the Italian national biathlon team for five years. After his career, he settled in his home village of Belluno , where he works as a financier.
