Giuseppe Rinaldi (born September 14, 1919 in Rome , † December 15, 2007 there ) was an Italian actor and voice actor .

Life

Rinaldi began acting in the late 1930s. He played in several films until the 1950s, before making a name for himself as a voice actor. For example, he was the Italian voice of Paul Newman in The Cat on a Hot Tin Roof , Sharks of the Big City or The Clou . He also dubbed other Hollywood greats such as Marlon Brando (e.g. in The Godfather ), Peter Sellers (e.g. in Dr. Strange or: How I Learned to Love the Bomb or as Inspector Clouseau in The Pink Panther ) or Rock Hudson (e.g. in The Wonderful Power ). He also voiced his voice in several Disney films . At the end of the 1990s he retired.

Rinaldi was married twice ( Marina Dolfin - Maria Pia Casilio ) and has three children from both marriages. In December 2007 he died of pneumonia .
