Gladerberg

The Gladerberg is a field name in the area of ​​the Wesertal municipality in the north Hessian district of Kassel and is part of the Reinhardswald .

The completely wooded Gladerberg is located between Gottstreu and Gieselwerder in a bend in the river opposite Oedelsheim on the orographic left bank of the Weser .

Topographically, the Gladerberg forms a ridge that descends northeast from the summit of the Hahneberg into the Weser valley. The name of the Alte Glashütte homestead on the banks of the Weser refers to a temporary use of the forest for forest glass production.
