Glasgow City FC is a women's football club from the Scottish city of Glasgow . The club was founded in 1998 and is currently the record champions in Scotland with 14 titles. The club colors are mandarin yellow and black.
history
Glasgow City Football Club was founded in 1998 and was promoted to the Scottish Women's Premier League in the first year after the club was founded . The club is based in the Bridgeton district of Glasgow . The 2009 game year was the most successful in the history of the club, not only winning the league cup and the cup, but also celebrating two championship titles in one year, as at the end of the 2008/09 season the league operations were switched to calendar years. In 2011 the league had a perfect season with 20 games without losing points.
The club qualified several times for the UEFA Women's Cup and the UEFA Women's Champions League . In the Champions League 2014/15 , the team made it to the quarter-finals, where they lost to Paris Saint-Germain , in the Champions League 2019/20 the quarter-finals were also reached.
