Glen Gilmore

Glen Gilmore (born May 25, 1971 ) is an Australian polo player with a handicap of 7.

Since his father was active internationally as a polo player, Gilmore grew up with the sport.

After graduating from university, he became a professional polo player and has played in the most important polo sports countries in the world including Great Britain, France, Spain, USA, Chile, Argentina, South Africa, New Zealand and Dubai.

Gilmore was the captain of the Australian polo team for ten years and represented his country at the "Cartier International Day", which they won in 2003 and 2005. In 2010 he won the St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow with his Cartier team .

Gilmore is the representative of the professional polo players of the British polo club "Guards Polo Club".

Gilmore commutes between his native Australia and England, where he lives about half the year. He is married and has two children (son Lachie and daughter Lucia).
