Global Family Charity Resort e. V. is a touristic human rights and aid organization founded by the former PR consultant Karl G. Auer on July 7, 2007 in Salzburg. With hundreds of hoteliers in Europe, the project organizes holidays for victims of violence, poverty, disasters, wars, persecution, incurable diseases, and occasionally also leisure activities, therapeutic support. Any costs incurred are largely covered in full by the association and the partner companies. For this purpose, the FC Global Kickers was founded on December 12, 2012. A celebrity soccer club that supports Global Family. The association was founded in Germany in 2015. President Julia Dahmen, on the board of the publishers Gerd Giesler and Karin Waibel. Since it is a non-profit organization, the association is supported exclusively by monetary donations and services.

According to the slogan "Vacation is a human right!", Children and parents, victims of violence, poverty, disasters or incurable diseases, should be given vacation opportunities. The idea behind it is that vacation is beneficial to well-being in any situation and is therefore an important part of life. The target groups should be given a piece of normality in order to get some distance from their problems. Furthermore, traumatized children and parents are provided with psychologists and therapists to look after those affected during their stay, if necessary.
Celebrities, actors, artists and sports legends also often look after families as holiday sponsors during the holidays.

Since the association operates as a humanitarian aid organization , it lives solely from donations, sponsors or other donations. For example, the Facebook page is maintained free of charge. Furthermore, the association is supported by a dense network of hoteliers who provide vacation stays and services free of charge in order to realize these vacation trips. The third pillar is made up of prominent testimonials such as B. Toni Polster , Barbara Wussow or Michael Ostrowski Cornelius Obonya or Walter Schachner .
With Toni Polster, Karl Auer founded a charity celebrity club, the FC Global Kickers. Many celebrities and football legends play football for children and parents in need.
Regional activity
Since it was founded, the association has built up a network of aid organizations in German-speaking countries. a. various branches of Caritas or numerous women's shelters . Through these institutions, the association has direct access to the target group and can offer their support directly in the appropriate offices. Since it was founded, the association has made it possible for over 1300 people to take such a holiday (as of 03/2015).
