The reservoir near the village of Globočica ( Albanian  Glloboçica ) is located north of the city of Struga in southwestern North Macedonia . It was created in 1965 and covers an area of ​​2.69 km². The dam dams the Black Drin , which rises from Lake Ohrid near Struga . The hydropower plant has a total output of 42 megawatts.

Lake Globočica is one of two reservoirs in North Macedonia that lie on the Drin. The Debarsee is located a few kilometers below near the town of Debar .
