Gloire you sport
The Gloire du sport award is given to former athletes, sports officials, coaches and sports journalists who have made a contribution to sport in France .
It has been awarded by the Fédération des internationaux du sport français since 1993 at the suggestion of Monique Berlioux . The idea of the North American Hall of Fame should be taken up.
The awardees should have an exemplary career behind them and at the time of the award, persons still living should not have been active for at least 10 years. In addition to purely sporting successes, the role model function and the influence on society are also taken into account in the award. New names are added to the list every year.
