The Glossopteris Gully is a steep-walled and narrow glacial channel in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Prince Charles Mountains , it is on the east bank of Bainmedart Cove , a bay of Radok Lake .
A three-man team from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions camped at the exit of the channel for a month between January and February 1969. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them after the Glossopteris fossils found in the upper section of the channel .
