Gocycle
The Gocycle is an electric bike from the English manufacturer KKL. It can be dismantled into several parts and stored in a case for transport.
According to the manufacturer, the Gocycle is equipped with pedals, but - when it is in motion - it can be driven solely with the help of the electrical auxiliary drive. In contrast to its country of origin, Great Britain , the Gocycle is therefore not considered an electric bike in the rest of the European Union , but a moped . In Austria you don't have to pedal either. There it is not considered a bicycle without a helmet and insurance obligation, as the maximum speed with motor assistance is not limited to 25 km / h.
At Eurobike 2009, the Gocycle received the “GOLD WINNER 2009” award in the “E-Bikes / Pedelecs” category. It was featured on the BBC's Top Gear program and reviewed by James May for The Daily Telegraph .
