Godfried Aduobe (born October 29, 1975 in Accra ) is a former Ghanaian soccer player .
Career
After Aduobe played for Powerlines Accra in his youth , the defensive midfielder switched to Torino Calcio in 1993 , where he played almost exclusively in the youth team, and was then always under contract with European teams. He played for Old Boys Basel , Young Boys Bern , SpVgg Greuther Fürth , SSV Reutlingen 05 and Hansa Rostock .
In 2005 Aduobe moved to Karlsruher SC . There he was able to establish himself as a regular in the defensive midfield and celebrated promotion to the Bundesliga with the Baden team in the 2006/07 season . After relegation in the 2008/09 season , Aduobe - one of the undisputed public favorites in the wildlife park due to his willingness to fight - remained loyal to the club and extended his contract in Karlsruhe until 2011.
Following the 2010/11 season , Aduobe retired at the age of 35.
Aduobe ran at least three times for the Ghana national team .
