Godomey is a city and an arrondissement in the Atlantique department in southern Benin . It is an administrative department under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Abomey-Calavi and is located near the city of Cotonou . According to the census of the National Institute for Statistics Benin of March 11, 2013, the arrondissement had a total population of 253,262 inhabitants.
